deancas100: Snow, forest, winter, park bench.
This deep in the park forest, the winter air was still and frigid, heavy with snow and the aftermath of power. The park bench that demons had used as an altar was burning, flames crackling and snapping as they licked away at the dry, varnished wood.
Castiel was aware of the cold of the air and the heat of the flames, more so than his human vessel could ever hope to be, but he disregarded them. He was focused on Dean, and always on Dean.
"Cas," Dean greeted him, tiredly. Castiel stepped closer to him, almost shoulder-to-shoulder.
"Well done, Dean."
