30 Days of Fandom Meme (Day 3)
Oct. 15th, 2015 02:25 pm3. For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?
- Transformers: It's been so long I honestly don't remember.
- Supernatural: Castiel. Because I can sympathise with a poor confused bastard who doesn't quite understand humanity. The drabble I wrote about Future!Cas, Honesty, is still one of my favorite things I've written.
- Lord of the Rings: Erestor, who's actually a character I fell in love with via other people's fanfic, which is also the reason I ship him with Glorfindel. Erestor's an interesting character to write because he only had one line in the books, we don't know that much about him, so despite that he's canon you can pretty much give him whatever characterization you want.
- Doctrine of Labyrinths: Mildmay. Writing Mildmay means you don't have to worry as much about grammar (he doesn't have poor grammar, necessarily, it's just very very casual) and you can swear a lot. Mildmay is a good character to write when you're frustrated.
- The Iron Elves Trilogy: Well, by default it'd have to be Konowa Swift-Dragon, since he's the only character in the one drabble I wrote for it. XD
