Oops, didn't mean to disappear
Dec. 29th, 2017 06:00 pmSo, 2017 has been...yeah. You all know what 2017 has been like. In particular ( Cut for talk of mental illness/disorder, death in the family, & PTSD & its causes )
On the other hand, having a diagnosis meant I could get more useful therapy since we knew what to target and develop more targeted coping mechanisms. I compare it to getting a splinter out: no one likes getting them pulled, but you're not going to get better unless you do.
I also went back to school and wound up kicking the program's ass grade-wise. So that's awesome, and I'm just crossing my fingers now I'll get a job out of it.
Anyway. Quick march through that door, 2017, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
